Peptide Dosing & Reconstitution Guide

Every research peptide ships as a lyophilized powder. Before use it must be reconstituted with bacteriostatic water, then measured in insulin-syringe units. This guide explains the math and links to the live calculator.

Quick answer

To dose a research peptide: (1) reconstitute the lyophilized powder by injecting bacteriostatic water down the side of the vial; (2) calculate concentration as vial_strength_mcg ÷ bac_water_ml; (3) divide your target dose by that concentration to get the volume; (4) multiply by 100 for units on a U-100 insulin syringe. Example: 5mg BPC-157 + 2ml bac water = 2500 mcg/ml, so a 250 mcg dose = 0.1ml = 10 units.
